Capital Brewery

Our story

Capital Brewery Company, Inc. was founded in March of 1984, and have won over 240 medals in national and international competitions. Our Beer Garden (a.k.a. ‘Middleton’s Backyard’) has been a local institution for over 30 years and continues to provide entertainment to tens of thousands of visitors annually. We have hosted over 3000 people for special events, and typically entertain over 4000 people (including 300 Capital Brewery Bike Club cyclists on Tuesdays and Thursdays) per week in mid-April through October.

In March of 2014 we installed 42 solar photovoltaic modules, and have produced over 60 MWh (offsetting over 45 tons of CO2 emissions) to date. We plan to add PV panels to cover a portion of our Beer Patio later this year.
